This 58-year-old female presented in consultation for cosmetic aging face concerns. Patient expressed concerns regarding forehead rhytids, marionette lines, facial rhytids, brow ptosis, upper lid dermatochalasis, prominent tear troughs, jowling, neck laxity. She had a Deep plane face, neck rhytidectomy, and Full face CO2 laser resurfacing. She is 2 months postop and is healing well.

This patient underwent a deep plane facelift, neck lift, upper blepharoplasty, and lateral brow lift. She is very happy with the results!

This 19-year-old male had a saddle nose deformity from previous septal surgery and trauma. He underwent a septorhinoplasty with donor costal cartilage and septal reconstruction with Dr. Barrera. He had trouble breathing from both sides of her nose. He had a septoplasty and turbbainate reduction to address his obstruction. This patient is very happy with the results!

This 56-year-old female presented in consultation for cosmetic aging face concerns. The patient expressed concerns regarding facial rhytids, brow ptosis, and prominent tear troughs. Dr. Barrera performed lower blepharoplasty with excess fat excision of the medial, central, and lateral fat pads on the right and excision of excess fat of the central and lateral fat pads on the left. The full face was CO2 laser resurfaced (mid mode ring 3 for full face except for mid mode ring 1 around eyes and fusion around mouth).

This 64-year-old female presented with cosmetic aging face concerns. The patient expressed concerns regarding facial rhytids, jowling, neck laxity. She was most concerned with her heavy neck and desire to have a neck lift. She underwent a deep plane facelift and necklift with Dr. Barrera and is very happy with the outcome!

This 22-year-old male had a large kyphotic dorsal hump and nasal tip bulbosity. He underwent preservation rhinoplasty with Dr. Barrera. Dr. Barrera performed a modified cottle technique with ultrasonic piezoelectric ostetomies. A septal extension graft was to refine and support the nasal tip. This 54-year-old female was seeking upper blepharoplasty to improve dermatochalasis (excessive upper eyelid skin) and peripheral field loss. Although her surgery was for improvement of functional peripheral vision, she improved significantly from an aesthetic viewpoint.

This 64-year-old female had aging face concerns and obstructive sleep apnea, OSA (AHI 31.8 in March 2023) intolerant of CPAP. She had reported daytime tiredness and fatigue associated with snoring and witnessed apneas while asleep.She had previous tonsillectomy.

She underwent Inspire hypoglossal nerve stimulation with a Deep plane facelift and deep neck lift (DPFLNL) with Dr. Barrera. She is 4 months postoperative and doing well. Some expected swelling is present in the neck area. Check out her amazing transformation!

This 19-year-old male patient presented with a dorsal hump, nasal tip asymmetry, and a droopy tip as well as functional nasal obstruction. He underwent septorhinoplasty with Dr. Barrera. Dr. Barrera used dorsal preservation with a septal extension graft, and crushed cartilage graft at supratip break to improve her nose. He also received a turbinate reducto help with nasal congestion. He wanted to his immediate before and after results and we are thankful to him.

Preservation rhinoplasty is the surgical art of mobilizing natural aesthetic lines of the dorsum of the nose while preserving the boney cap, the cartilages of the nose and in some cases septal cartilage and nasal ligaments . It is not a new procedure, since it was first described by Dr. Goodale in 1898. However, it has been modernized by many surgeons around the world.
