Perioral and lip volumization can be a challenge in older patients. As we age, the flesh-colored part of the lip thins and loose subcutaneous volume adding to static and mimetic fine lines are the mouth. The upper lip also elongates and the red portion of the lip classically thins.

There are multiple techniques that can be used for lip rejuvenation but they are NOT “one-size-fits-all”. In this case vertical height was restored to the lip and fine lines largely eliminated without increasing “pouty” lip projection and volume than many older patients wish to avoid.

After a difficult revision surgery, though, the ear contours are far more pleasing and his self esteem is restored! Not to mention his mom is happier that he won’t feel the need to keep his hair long enough to conceal his ears.

Keloid scar formation is very common in patients that have ear piercings- especially for piercings through the ear cartilage. In this difficult, the keloid car had taken over and replaced much of the upper ear helix and anti helix.

Scar was excised and sculpted along with skin excision from the back side of the ear. The contour will never be identical to her non-scarred ear, but the ear is less heavy, non-painful, and far less conspicuous than in its previous state.

Browlift and eyelid procedures can be performed as stand alone procedures, or in the case, in conjunction with a deep plane facelift.

The result is a more youthful brow position, relaxed forehead muscles which lessen forehead and glabellar wrinkling, and open the eyes. An upper eyelid blepharoplasty also helped to lift the upper lid along with the brow.
