Cheers to the man who held it down for us in the kitchen for so long: Mando Valdez who worked for us for over 25 years, retiring in March 2023 because of sickness, passed on this morning. Blue Star Brewing Co. was founded in 1996. The small, hole in the wall brewery opened it’s doors with one goal in mind: make quality beer. Our micro-brewery pushes out the tastiest all organic beers, we offer many different menu items, ranging from sandwiches to pasta, chicken, salads, we offer a little taste of everything and some delicious craft beer to go with it. Our produce is local, our beef is grass fed, and our chicken is raised with no hormones, not to mention we offer biodegradable To Go boxes. So if you’re looking to eat local, eat healthy, and eat smart, stop by and see us! We offer many events, such as Jazz, Spurs bus, First Friday, Theology on Tap, Astronomy on Tap, and have spaces you can rent to host your own event!
