We will kick off the festivities on Friday, October 18th, with our popular Pumpkin Patch event - a fun-filled day with pumpkin decorating, games and activities suitable for the entire family.
On Saturday, November 23rd, we will continue our celebration with our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway. We will be distributing turkeys and other holiday fixings to families in need in the San Bernardino area to ensure nobody misses out on the joys of Thanksgiving.
We will conclude our Holiday events with Winter Wonderland, a festive celebration on Saturday, December 14th, featuring music, delicious foods, and holiday crafts.

Young Visionaries Youth Leadership Academy is currently seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join their team and coordinate the delivery of intervention, prevention, and case management services for their High Desert Program. The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree in social/behavioral health, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of related experience or training.

As a Mental Health Specialist, the selected candidate will be responsible for executing various duties, including implementing and facilitating individual/group counseling sessions, assessing clients' risk levels, coordinating intakes, and working with other health professionals to develop individualized service plans with specific goals and objectives. This may include areas such as vocational training, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and more.

Candidates are expected to have excellent documentation and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and some prior experience in youth-serving organizations and understanding adolescent developmental issues. The role also involves maintaining confidential client records, files, and delivering reports as needed.

This is a contract position that offers growth opportunities for individuals looking to make a positive impact on the lives of youth and parents in the community.
