The International Day of Non-Violence is October 2nd, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi who was a leader in the strategy of non-violence.
When we talk about violence it is important to speak about s*x trafficking as a major source of s*xual and physical violence in the United States.
"The 2022 Global Report on Trafficking in Persons also examines court cases showing that female victims are subject to physical or extreme violence at hands of traffickers at a rate three times higher than males, and children are subjected almost twice as often as adults," which is of course not saying that adult males do not endure violence in the context of trafficking. They absolutely do.
Raise your voice against s*xual violence against all races, genders, and ages today!
