📝 Make a Plan for Extreme Heat 📝
With increasing extreme heat events, it’s important to be prepared.
🔍Find nearby cooling centers, libraries, community centers, or shopping malls.
☀️Know when it's going to be hot and where you can go to stay cool.
🏠At home, keep blinds and drapes closed to keep the heat out, and use fans to stay cool.
💧Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoid being outside in direct heat for long periods.
🌡️Recognize the signs of heat illness, and seek medical treatment if necessary.

Hey folks, we are the Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance. We are an LGBTQ+ mental health non-profit based out of San Bernardino. Our mission is to promote, advocate and offer support for/to LGBTQ+ youth and their families. In 2018 RPYA, we are planning to continue our through growth by creating field trips for LGBTQ+ youth in the IE, forming more spaces of mental health support for the LGBTQ+ community and launching the IE Intersectional Youth Leadership of Conference.
