The classic saline vs silicone debate…
“Is one safer than the other?”
“Aren’t they made of better materials then they used to?”
The short answer is No 👈
of any kind can lead to and serious health issues.
Even for those who are free from symptoms, it doesn’t mean they aren’t causing serious harm on the inside.
Your body deserves better 💕✨
Honest story from the amazing : 🤗✨
“I've been waiting on for what has seemed like forever.
two years ago this month I eagerly decided to follow through with silicone . something
that would make me feel more of a ‘woman’.
however, my story went a little different. little did I know it would immediately send me down a wild
goose chase of extensive mystery symptoms. chronic skin issues, inflamed hormones, anxiety,
adrenal fatigue, brain fog, join pain, chronic inflammation, severe food allergies, gut issues, digestive problems, memory loss, the list goes on.
I truly felt like I was slowly dying.
over the course of the last 2 years I've adapted to a holistic lifestyle, spent thousands & thousands of dollars to attempt to find a root cause and in denial that the thing I always wanted could be the cause of it all. all my test results were improving but each day
my symptoms got dramatically worse.
I started researching BIl & what I found was gut wrenching. hundreds of thousands of women experienced the exact same issues. And when they removed them? Everything suddenly got better, no more symptoms.
It became so clear to me I needed an explant. breast implant illness is so real. it impacts your life deeply.”
Yes and YES to all of this 🙏🏼🙏🏼
As women, it can be so easy to “push through” the pain of by telling ourselves that we are needed by those around us 😓
ESPECIALLY when it comes to .
And no doubt, this is true.
We are needed by many people.
But we need ourselves the MOST. You cannot take care of others and show up as your most powerful self if you aren’t taking care of You first.
And yes, that means both mentally and physically. Especially during those times of and reactions to the toxicity of .
We need to prioritize our health at the top of the list. Above all else.
Self-care IS caring for others. It is knowing our capacity 💕
Happy Day! ✨✨
As more of of us awaken to the reality of , it’s important to speak your truth and make a statement to the world that each of us deserves health.
We deserve divine love and appreciation for the bodies that care for us, deeply in resonance with our authentic selves.
We deserve LIFE 💕
There are complex, powerful, and DEEPLY entrenched beliefs /expectations that drive women to the point of getting 💄👙
Many of us THINK it’s a decision as simple and casual as wanting to look more “feminine” or more “balanced”. But those conclusions are the results of ongoing pressures and we are fed since birth to look a certain way.
They are all rooted in the idea that our bodies need to be changed, to be better.
Many thanks to .amandasavagebrown for touching on this topic and connecting it to ’s and story.
~ The connection between and ~
Many women with experience intense joint pain, , and serious overall - with no idea that their implants are the source of this suffering.
To anyone out there with these symptoms - they are NOT normal. They are a sing from your body that it is struggling.
By leaking plastic residue, heavy metals, and dozens of toxic chemicals, NO implants are safe. All have the potential to do this to your body — and worse. ALL of them are foreign objects lodged in your body.
Many times this is misdiagnosed as or - when in reality it’s your body working hard to expel toxins in any way possible.
It’s NOT worth it. Get them OUT.
Another inspiring journey that we’re so grateful to witness 💫
you are GLOWING, sister!
Sending sooo much love and healing as she continues in amazing recovery post 🍃
It’s amazing to see the raw, authentic stories following your journeys through removal and healing. Just a reminder that everyone’s recovery experience is unique. Healing is not linear. Some women experience immediate symptom relief after and others do not until days/weeks/months later. ALL are normal and okay.
In her own words:
“I couldn't feel happier, more excited and more grateful. I am in such a good place and truly in
awe of my strength, dedication, determination and the love I have for myself.
This process hasn't always been easy, it took work for me to get to the point where I could finally accept that my breast implants were making me sick.
2 years ago my friend Ingrid told me about BlI and I didn't want to hear it. I made every excuse in the book for my implants and as to why they
couldn't possibly be making me sick, but the truth is I knew it deep down inside, in that very moment. I just wasn't ready to accept it.”
So much openness and maturity here — we love to see it 💕💕
Another announcement:
Dance Patrick is bravely sharing her journey with - including chronic , , & SO much more - and the rapid recovery she's experienced. Here's her chilling story in her own words:
"I wasn’t sure I was ready to share this.... but then I remembered that true vulnerability is sharing something you’re not really ready to. So here it is.
•
I got breast implants November of 2014. I got them because I want to have it all. I was really fit, but I didn’t have b***s. So I got them. Everything went well, and I was happy with them.
•
Fast forward about 3 years to early 2018, and I noticed that my hair was not as healthy and was breaking off. I also gained a few pounds and had no luck losing it.
•
Then fast forward to late 2020.... and the wheels came off. I had cycle irregularity, gained more weight, my hair wasn’t looking healthy at all and my face was a different shape (weird I know). So I went down the rabbit hole to figure it out. I did every test that could be done. Here is my list of symptoms and out of range medical tests -
-hypothyroidism
-heavy metal toxicity
-dysbiosis, 10/10
-severe leaky gut
-hypoglycemic
-low estrogen, DHEA, testosterone, magnesium, white blood count, vitamin D, and progesterone
-adrenal fatigue, no AM cortisol spike
-elevated CRP (inflammatory marker)
-temperature sensitivity
-swollen lymph nodes in my neck
-dry scalp/skin
-weird perspiration smell sometimes
-easy to get dizzy
-achy hands from time to time
-face swelling
-weight gain
-capsular contracture (they were both folded from the amount of scar tissue)
-hair loss
•
I had them removed on Wednesday. The picture is a snap shot of a couple hours before and a couple hours after. Within hours after surgery this is what I noticed - my face had more color and less dark circles (no food before the second pic), my face started producing oil again, I could take a 30% deeper breath into my chest already, and I had so much energy when I woke up (and surgery was at 230pm). "
It is so powerful to celebrate the strength of brave women speaking out. and more of the world is becoming aware every single day.
All the ❤️❤️ and appreciation for the amazing for being a MASSIVE voice in the community!
In her own words:
“I got my implants removed.
and it was the BEST DECISION EVER! Small B***s = BIG ENERGY!
If you haven't been following me for very long then you might not know that I had explant surgery not too long ago due to and other
health issues beginning to arise for me.
So many people warned me about the mental changes I would face when adjusting from having fake b***s to going back to my natural b***s... but I got to say.. it was one of the best decisions I have
ever made.
I don't miss my fake b***s at all - CYA SUCKERS”
We couldn’t agree more. NOTHING in this world is more important than your health.
~ How Chantel's body rejected her implants: New episode just released ~
After getting placed to 'balance out' the concave chest she was born with, Chantel’s immune system immediately went into fight mode. She received a slew of diagnoses including Hashimoto’s as soon as they went in, on top of intense back pain, , bacteria in her scar tissue, shortness of breath, AND grade 4 . However, doctors repeatedly failed her, assuring her that swapping the implants for a new set would be the solution.

~ Breaking News ~
According to , the interest in has SKYROCKETED with all-time high search volumes.
With a 527% increase in searching for ‘explant’, it’s safe to say that awareness is growing they way it deserves.
reports that this is not an isolated spike but rather a fundamental “paradigm shift” around the topic of as a whole.
We sure hope so 💕💕
~ Holding onto your removed implants after ~
Many women find power in keeping these bags after to remind them of the experience and how far we’ve come through recovery.
And for others, we want to say goodbye to those toxic bags FOR GOOD. 👋🏼👋🏼
What did you do with your implants / what do you plan to do with them?
Remember: whatever choice helps you feel the most empowered, is the right one for you 🌸✨
~ Doing your own research about BII: ~
When it comes to and suppressed illnesses like , it’s VITAL to empower yourself with the ability to be informed.
Hundreds of thousands of women struggle with BII for years (and even decades) before discovering the culprit behind their suffering.
Why? It all comes back to knowledge & awareness. Arming ourselves with the information to and heal is the most powerful and transformative step of the process. We cannot initiate recovery for ourselves or others if we don’t know what’s happening in our bodies ⭐️
Many women return to their original implant surgeon (most of which are NOT well-versed or even aware of BII), and get told that there is zero chance their implants are the issue.
👉 Remember: YOU know your body best.
👉 You are NOT imagining your symptoms. is REAL.
These communities are what allow us to empower & inform ourselves and others to see the light and heal the way we deserve — inside & out.
So grateful for each and every woman here 💕
Chest size has NOTHING to do with beauty. 👏👏
As women we are bred to believe that our value and womanhood is rooted in our physical bodies, especially certain features that make us ‘feminine’.
👉👉 does NOT make you less of a woman. In fact, it is exactly the practice of taking care of our bodies and listening to the signs it tells us - that makes us beautiful.
There is so much more to ‘attractiveness’ than chest size - and anyone who doesn’t recognize this, doesn’t deserve to experience your energy ⭐️
~ Confidence in clothing post explant ~
The number of questions we get from women asking how to dress their new natural chest post is shocking.
Right after your , the most important thing BY FAR to focus on is your inner and outer recovery. Healing take time. 💕
But the best and simplest answer to dressing your new body is: WHATEVER you want. Anyone who makes comments about certain things not ‘flattering’ a smaller chest is a reflection of their inner state, NOT your outer one.
Please do not feel inclined to purchase a ‘new wardrobe’ that is more societally fitting to cover up your chest - unless, of course, you feel confident and beautiful in it! 🛍
~ & ~
So many women are experiencing symptoms of and thinking that this is at all normal. Feeling exhausted, low energy, and depleted is a sign that the body is STRUGGLING.
But the body is struggling for a reason.
The source of this is often which poison the body with foreign chemicals, heavy metals and add intense strain on the system.
Chronic fatigue is NOT normal. Struggling every day is NOT normal. If you have breast implants, odds are that they are seriously contributing to this syndrome.
~ The toxicity of ‘New Year New Me’ content ~
Most are oriented around LOOKING a certain way. The number of women we’ve seen and heard from who are wanting 2022 to be the year they finally get is shocking.
So instead, here are some nourishing and holistically rooted affirmations for #2022 instead:
👉 “I will cultivate complete love and appreciation for my body EXACTLY as it is - NOT when I reach a certain visual or numerical goal.”
👉 “I will work toward FEELING a certain way as opposed to looking a certain way.”
👉 “I will not punish myself for anything.”
What affirmations are you integrating into your healing journey for the new year? 💕
When it comes to , NO woman is alone.
While many of us may feel isolated in our experience or that nobody around us understands, please know that you are supported by a community of thousands 💕
We are all here together, in this together ✨
As women we are bred by societal beauty standards to believe that our bodies are meant to look a certain way, to behave a certain way.
While affects millions of women, we also recognize the importance of exploring the reasons WHY so many of us feel compelled to get implants in the first place.
It’s easy to say and to think that are just an upgrade to look and feel more like ‘me’. But the real question is:
—> WHY am I not welcoming my body exactly as it is right now with open arms?
—> WHOSE approval am I seeking?
—> WHY do I think I need surgical changes to feel more like ‘me’? Aren’t I my fullest and most authentic self exactly as I am?
—> WHAT inside me is cultivating the belief that I need to harm & alter myself in any way?
When we go deep within and consider these questions, the answers don’t always come immediately. But when they do, they are strong.
No woman deserves to damage her body for the sake of beauty.
Your raw, genuine stories never fail to shock me…
Every single journey is truly unique & heartbreaking.
This week, Judith joins us on the ***s podcast to share her battle with . And to no surprise, there are no words.
From her experience with severe illness due to recalled implants - which she was never contacted about the recall - to ongoing tests for illnesses, to being bed-bound for over 6 months, she has been through it all.
We are so grateful to be with her on the other side sharing her story to prevent others from experiencing the same horrors. We also discuss how to empower, educate and protect yourself as an individual.

~Breaking News in the BII Community~
has announced her ! This story is truly resonating - both in the heartfelt story of the reasons driving these implant AND the way al of us can reflect in our bodies as a whole. So incredibly grateful to Kehlani for openly sharing the realities of 🌟
Here’s what they had to say:
“I got breast implants about four years ago because I was very much struggling with what beauty meant to me. I remember this video of me performing went viral. People were like ‘she’s horribly built.’ So I went and got breast implants.”
However, these came at a cost. Kehlani experienced serious medical issues including chronic fatigue, brain fog, severe joint pain, restless leg syndrome, and new allergies.
But this story has a bight side. Now , Kehlani is doing better than ever and shares how “I actually feel way more beautiful than I ever felt because I feel healthy. I really don't take my natural body for granted anymore. I got things done that went away because my body type was not meant to be changed in the way I thought I could change it.”
“It’s been such a journey to figure out how I feel about the way that I look. I always felt like I was looking for 'beauty,' never that I was sitting in it.”
These words are SO true. When we believe that we will finally be beautiful once we get one more procedure done or make one more change to our bodies, we fail to realize that we are perfect as we are NOW. It is our energy, our vibrance, our excitement about life that makes us s*xy.
~ How to find the right surgeon to perform your ~
Interviewing plastic surgeons?
Here are 5 important questions to ask - straight from a former Plastic Surgery RN:
1. Do you use the En Bloc Method with a total capsulectomy?
2. How many of these procedures have you done?
3. Will you take photos of the implant + capsules once removed + allow me to see them after surgery?
4. Who actually performs the surgery? Surgeon alone? Residents allowed to assist?
5. Is the procedure done in a hospital or fully accredited surgical facility?
These are a great place to start + get a good feel if the surgeon will be a good match for your needs.
*Stay tuned for a video talking about "how to choose the best surgeon for you" ✨

~ Hormonal issues & ~
The correlation between the two or these is shocking. From to irregular periods, fibroids, , breast pain, , changes in s*x drive, mood, and so much more, are some of the most intense hormone disruptors we know.
So many women are made to feel like it’s all in their head or that they are exaggerating symptoms - let’s be loud and clear that you are NOT crazy.
The only way to truly recover your after battling is a deep detox / recovery, and of course TIME.
You can do it 💕💕
~ Eating to heal during & after the holidays ~
With thanksgiving just passed and the holiday season in full swing, it’s completely normal to eat differently than normal (often times more indulgent things that do not support the body’s detox & recovery).
What to do:
Pick more mindful options while enjoying treats & experiences with your loved ones in moderation. It can be challenging when those around us are eating a certain way that does not align with the healing journey we are on, or if there is pressure from others to ‘fit in’ with what everyone else is doing. Find a balance between doing what feels good mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Continue integrating high omega-3 foods and healthy fats such as avocado, fresh herbs, kale & dark leafy greens, and fresh fruits.
What NOT to do:
If you feel like you “overdid it” with treats or inflammatory foods, do NOT punish yourself or your body. Nobody is keeping score.
We all know the pressure society places on us to look a certain way.
This week on the show, Malena shares the story of getting her implants in as a successful model, and the slew of horrific symptoms that followed and worsened for years.
We discuss the societal pressures at play which drove her to get them, and how her surgery changed everything.
