For nearly two billion Muslims, the month of Ramadan marks a time of spiritual rejuvenation and a recommitment to our principles and morals. The month is welcomed with celebration, and observed through fasting and prayer, as an act of thankfulness for the privilege of observing the month.

While we enter this Ramadan in gratitude, we do so in mourning of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. We’ve decided to use the occasion to host another community event to highlight organizations working towards a ceasefire and a permanent end to the occupation of Palestine. They will be joined alongside other local Palestinian and Muslim businesses in a community bazaar.

Please join us on Saturday March 16th, from 8 PM to Midnight at Tahini and Finjan - who will be extending their hours that day. 🇵🇸🤍

Tahini and Finjan Coffee Co recently marked their 6th and 1st year anniversaries. It’s an accomplishment that feels bittersweet celebrating at this time, considering the ongoing g e n o c i d e in G a z a and the West Bank.

We’ve decided to honor our anniversary by hosting an event highlighting Palestinian organizations working tirelessly to end the occupation, alongside a bazaar of local Palestinian businesses. Our Palestinian partners will be showcasing their Palestinian heritage to highlight the perseverance of Palestinian people and culture despite 75+ years of occupation. It’s a great opportunity to learn more and find out how to get involved.

A percentage of all Tahini/Finjan sales that day will also go to Non-Profit Orgs involved in relief efforts.
