Spent the weekend celebrating the life of my Mom. A true Texas Girl. So we drove to the wildflowers, searched for cows, started the day with her favorite biscuits, and shared memories about what made her so special.

A week ago today Sarah finally got to move onto campus and start her “real” college experience with dorm life, sorority life, clubs, food she’s not to fond of and the hardest challenge, doing her own laundry. I actually thought it was a harder goodbye this time than in the Spring but too see her pure joy and the energy on the campus left this Mom with a happy heart. I asked one of my friends if it ever got easier saying goodbye and she told me a truthful “no!” But the other side of the coin is the immense pride we feel as parents watching our children come into their own. That was our job right? Time to celebrate them and the gift of a little extra time to rediscover what makes us happy as well.

Wondering what's happening in the Shadowridge Real Estate Market? It continues to be a STRONG market for Sellers., though there has been a slight plateau. Median list price is $815,000 and inventory has slightly increased to 18 homes.

The Seller market in Rancho Bernardo continues to be extremely strong with most homes going into escrow after a weekend on average $60,000 to $125,000 over LIST price. This is a great idea Shadowridge friends!!

One positive thing that has come from our self quarantine is that my family has finally given in and sat down and put together puzzles with me. We have finished the 2 that we own and I went to Walmart and Amazon and everyone is sold out. Would anyone in Shadowridge be interested in a drop off puzzle exchange? We could wipe down the box with a bleach wipe and share the fun. No human contact needed.
