Auto-Matching has begun on Oct 6th. Auto-matching is an opportunity for mentors and mentees to connect by using their profile information specifically career interest and industry. If you would NOT like to be auto-match or if you would like to be auto-match but have not been matched, please email us at [email protected].

Congratulations to the Class of 2023! We wish you luck in your future endeavors. Special shoutout to our AMP student assistant, Thuy Nguyen and our program coordinator, Emma Charles. Thuy Nguyen will graduate with her Bachelors of Science in Business Finance with a minor in Management Information Systems. Emma will be graduating with her Masters of Arts in Student Affairs. Beyond proud of you all!

Our Spring 2023 mentoring connections will be manually closed on May 15. Make sure to thank your mentor for volunteering their time, and get connected outside the platform before May 15. Keep an eye out for Fall 2023 updates.

Thanks to those who attended AMP’s Modern Mentorship Panel yesterday! We had several takeaways about mentorship and networking and hope you did too. Special thank you to our panelists: Lisa Hernandez, Rosalia Arellano, and Calvin Gomez for joining us and sharing insight into their mentoring and career experiences.

Those who attended should’ve received an email with a link to a survey. We appreciate any feedback so we can hopefully continue to improve our AMP events. Thanks!

Meet the team behind the Aztec Mentor Program- Lauren, Emma, and Thuy! Lauren is a third-year Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences major with a minor in Social and Personality Psychology. Emma is currently enrolled in a Master's program, attaining a degree in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with an Emphasis in Student Affairs. We are excited to welcome our newest Alumni & Career Development Analyst!

Emma Charles is an SDSU Alumni with a Bachelor's in Child and Family Development with a minor in Counseling and Social Change. She is currently enrolled in a Master's program, attaining a degree in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with an Emphasis in Student Affairs.

Emma is from Woodland, CA and has resided in San Diego for the past six years. She enjoys reading, running around Mission Bay, and enjoying the outdoors! Within this new position, Emma hopes to increase alumni involvement within the Aztec Mentor Program.
