🚌 Stay alert whenever there’s a bus in the area — remember, children may not look before running into the street.
🚌 Keep a safe distance when driving behind a bus, and expect frequent stops.
🚌 Stop when a school bus flashes red lights or extends its stop sign, no matter which direction you’re driving.
🚌 Remember that buses take longer to stop and have a wider turning radius than cars.
🚌 Be aware that buses must stop at all railroad crossings whether or not crossing signals are on.
