I’ve been busy shooting so many client events, helping out and attending end-of-year school activities, and planning our summer vacation, but we’re officially on our road trip and finally I have some time to post from the car. 🚘

I can’t help but to reflect on this sweet mommy and me session shot on one of our overcast San Diego spring beach days. This little boy is not just the cutest but he was so sweet! I love working with this age range.

The joy radiated from this sweet couple like sunshine, helping to combat the gloomy May Gray skies.

I had so much fun capturing them during their babymoon here in San Diego. This soon-to-be dad was the ultimate hype man, supporting momma every step of the way. When you relax and embrace the moment, it leads to unforgettable memories and stunning photos.

Absolutely thrilled to have captured this amazing Marine who just graduated from SDSU and commissioned as an officer! From our short time working together, it was evident that you are going to go on to do big things!🎓🎖️

On another note, my life is a whirlwind right now with end-of-school volunteering, parties and performances, and my oldest’s Girl Scout bridging coming up this weekend. Not to mention, editing, shooting one more wedding and one more event, and preparing for our big summer trip! It’s overwhelming, but I’m so grateful for every bit. Send coffee and ashwaganda. 🤣

Booking the motherhood retreat to Joshua Tree sparked an idea in my mind—a chance to refresh my brand with a new headshot, infused with that boho desert vibe I adore.

As soon as I laid eyes on this liquor store with a Joshua tree nestled up right next to it, I knew: this was the spot!

I envisioned a playful, edgy photo inspired by , me kicking the camera with all the hipster vibes. But oh boy, reality hit hard. 😅

I felt like a complete goofball, and let's just say, most of the shots didn't quite match the vision in my head. But amidst the chaos, something magical happened.

With my new friend Gina by my side, we laughed through the awkwardness and captured moments of pure joy and authenticity. Sure, I might have looked a tad insane in some frames, but isn't that the beauty of it all? Life's not about perfection—it's about embracing the imperfections and finding beauty in the unexpected.

So here's to all of us who've felt the discomfort of being in front of the camera. It's tough, it's awkward, it's uncomfortable—but oh, is it rewarding!

Guys… the last time I took her photo she was 7 months old and we were all living in Italy. And look at this cutie pie now!!!! Almost 7 years old and just as adorable! I loved working with this sweet family and am thankful the military crossed our paths again!
