There is a lot that goes into caring for these bunnies. Today the staff noticed one of the bunnies not doing well and she was rushed to the emergency vet. Though the Bunnyfest is a big fundraiser, your help is needed and appreciated when something like this happens. If you would like to help, find out how here: https://sandiegorabbits.org/donate

Have you ever seen a rabbit that has severe malocclusion? Poor Motley came to us this way. His previous owner could not afford veterinarian care for him. SDHRS was called in to help this little guy. Motley is current at getting these teeth extracted and his molars trimmed. Then we will see if a proper diet of unlimited hay, veggies and healthy pellets will help him keep his back teeth trim. If not, Motley will have to go in for routine teeth trims. Your continued support helps us be able to make critical life-saving decisions quickly. Thank you so much for supporting rabbits like Motley. Every little bit helps. 🐾
Tickets are available for the Bunnyfest. Get yours early and keep an eye out for any add-on activities like the Art Social. https://www.sandiegobunnyfest.org/

Look at the Great Value at Walmart on 55 gallon trash bags! SDHRS goes through a lot of trash bags cleaning tons of litterboxes every week. We could also use 13 gallon trash bags, bulk hand soap and dish soap as well. If you are at Walmart or shopping on the Walmart website, please think of SDHRS and buy and bring a box over to us. We would greatly appreciate it! Here is the link: https://www.walmart.com/registry/RR/2d4335fd-f143-4542-a64a-c77a43e40b45,. For Instagram, our link is in our bio.
