Knockout Night in Little Italy Packs a Punch for Charity Punches in Little Italy honors Bobby DePhilippis' legacy. Join this amateur boxing showcase for a night of community spirit.

The Bobby D. Foundation is proud to the return of Punches in Little Italy for a second year! This uniquely staged outdoor amateur boxing event supports the underprivileged students of Washington Elementary School Foundation and celebrates the life and memory of Bobby DePhilippis. The event will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 5:30pm at Washington Elementary School Field (Accessed through W. Date & Union Streets). Last year, because of the support of the Little Italy community, friends and family of Bobby D., and Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, the Bobby D. Foundation was able to contribute $40,000 to Washington Elementary School Foundations efforts to support supplemental programming and resources for the underprivileged students they represent.

This year will be bigger and better with a larger floor plan, more seating, more experiential venues, and even more matches. The amateur matches will be made up of young boxers. This is a night that you won’t want to miss. Get your tickets before they sell out.

The Bobby D. Foundation's mission is to give help and hope to underprivileged children in the Filippi's Pizza Grotto communities by raising funds to provide resources that enable them to reach their full potential. We are tenacious in our efforts to provide them with educational opportunities, resources, and the support they need to succeed.
