Join us in congratulating our newest matched veteran/service dog team in training, Jon and Jett! Jon is a USAF Veteran who bravely served our country. He came to us looking for a service dog to be a loyal companion and support his mental health journey. Jett is a black lab rescued by and then adopted by us! He has settled into the groove of his training program and already loves his new Dad a lot. They’ll continue to work together through handler training for an estimated 7 months, in weekly 1:1 lessons, until they have passed all of their exams and are ready to set off on their journey as a veteran/service dog team! We are thrilled for them, and honored to be a part of their journey. Thank you to Lisbeth Eddy, Red Star Sponsor, for making their journey possible. 🇺🇸🐾
