11.21.23 – UPDATED NAVAJO NATION MISSING PERSONS POSTER

FORT DEFIANCE, Ariz. – The Navajo Police Department has updated the Navajo Nation Missing Person’s poster. The poster is produced with hopes that the information will be widely distributed among communities and possibly lead to new information that may help find missing loved ones.

There are approximately 81 individuals in the Navajo Nation that are currently missing, with some missing since the 1970s, including 23 females and 58 males. The posters will be distributed and displayed in all Navajo Police Department districts and periodically updated.

Anyone with possible information on any of the missing person’s cases is encouraged to call the Navajo Police Department Tip Line at (928) 686-8563 or email tips to [email protected].

If you need to REPORT a person missing, please contact your local law enforcement and be prepared to provide essential information, including a physical description of the individual and a recent photo to submit with your report.
