This year marks 100 years of women having the right to vote in the US. 💯

Women were one of the the last groups of US citizens who were given the right to vote in US elections. 100 years ago, there were many laws in place preventing women from being able to own property, from being paid the same as men, preventing women from inheriting money and property to the same extent as men, and even the right to work in certain professions. For many minority women, the wait was longer. The list goes on and on!

It was not until 1981 (just 39 years ago) that the first SCOTUS Justice, Sandra Day O’Connor was appointed by former President Ronald Reagan.

I am excited to announce the opening of my own law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. My plan for the firm is to focus mainly on employment law, representing clients in California and Nevada.
