Amatriciana- A personal favorite as it was born in the hometown of my ancestors, Amatrice. Folklore says that shepards used to carry percorino and guanciale with them into the pastures to make a simple pasta dish over fire as they worked far away from home. When tomatoes were introduced to Italy from the Americas, they added that in creating the delicious amatriciana.

The white truffles from Alba in Italy are back! We have received an exceptional quality this year. We can shave it on our homemade fettuccine, or risotto if you prefer. Pair it with a smooth Barolo for a memorable meal! The season is short so make a reservation soon.

Farmer's Market Bounty! Beets, green beans, frisee. Some added citrus and soft pecorino cheese. Perfect on a warm day.

I truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication of the crew here at Ristorante Milano! In tough times we stuck together, helped each other, and have always worked hard to bring the best experience to you.

Ristorante Milano was born out of a tradition of hard workers. My Nonno Ugo started at 14 as a bell boy and later ran a restaurant in Rome, called Ulpia, for many years. My father started working in a small butcher shop when he was 14. When he married my mom they worked side by side running a butcher shop near the Vatican. My wife Louise’s paternal grandfather immigrated from Italy to Canada at 14 and worked as a blaster on the Niagara Falls Hydroelectric Plant. Her dad carried water to the construction workers as a young boy.

This spirit of resilience and dedication is part of Ristorante Milano's success for the past 33 years. A big thank you to everyone who makes it possible.
