Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month, which celebrates the histories and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Today, I’d like to give special thanks to all of my friends and staff that are of Asian descent. I’m to support and stand with the AAPI community!

Message from Trish: “October is breast cancer awareness month. I have had two different types of breast cancer, two mastectomies, and ten reconstructive surgeries. Thank goodness we only have two breasts!

Please do not delay your annual mammogram! My second breast cancer, diagnosed ten years after my first, was detected not by a mammogram or even an ultrasound, but a random biopsy.

is now speaking out about high density breast tissue. It makes it particularly difficult to detect cancer. If you, like me, happen to have high density breast tissue. Be aware and extra diligent. I’m grateful my cancers were caught early. Go get checked!”
