Years ago, when Socola was a fledgling company, we got the idea for a spicy brittle. We tried to add Sriracha with the sugar, but in the caramelization process it would always burn. After some experimentation, we started adding it at the end. P**f! Magic.

The Sriracha Brittle wasn’t always a mainstay on our product list, but when we started leaning more deeply into our Vietnamese roots, we knew it was time to bring it back.

Despite the tragic Sriracha shortage of 2021 (see Father’s Day post for how we survived), the Sriracha Brittle is now one of our favorite – and hottest – products.
