Hello, fellow bodyworkers, massage therapists, and wellness practitioners! I moved back to San Francisco and will soon be leasing a beautiful office space to do bodywork near the Castro district (16th & Sanchez). The room is on the second floor with large west-facing windows/view of the street below. It is 12x14, has natural wood floors, lots of natural light, high ceilings, and shares a waiting room with other wellness practitioners and therapists.

I am looking for 1-2 practitioners who want to share the office, renting it from me for a negotiated term (preferably 6 months to a year). Over the next couple of weeks, I am interviewing prospective tenants as I paint and set up the space, looking to structure the time-share in an ongoing, reasonably predictable way. ✨I am reaching out because on August 21st hundreds of massage therapists in SF including myself received cease and desist notices from DPH. I attended a meeting Friday, September 13th with Supervisor Brown from District 5 and the Office Of Small Business. She apologized on behalf of the City of San Francisco, for the stress and weight that has been placed on us individually and our businesses. I appreciate her efforts to help make this right for us and amend/offer new legislation that counters hugely restricted zoning, outlandish fee structures and a complicated Health Permit process that would have effectively closed the doors to my business and hundreds of legitimate Massage Therapy practices in San Francisco. I am certain that common-sense legislation for the long-term with a unified professional community and cooperation of ALL the city Supervisors will allow Professional Massage Therapy in San Francisco to SURVIVE and THRIVE!
