Bitter Melon, before and after.. We cook them in a way that takes the bitter flavor away! Chefs secret..
Our Main Course this menu is our Tamarind Fish!🐟
Steelhead Trout roasted in banana leaf, with tamarind sauce, pineapple pajeri, and pickled onions.
The Steelhead comes with sautéed kale and crispy bitter melon. Let us change your mind about bitter melon!
There is also Pongol white beans, with parsley sauce, fried quinoa, and sun dried tomatoes. These heirloom Rancho Gordo white beans are only available once a year!
Pongol is a Tamil Hindu harvest festival. Once of the most important festivals in the Tamil diaspora, including in Malaysia! They celebrated in January, but better late than never!🪷
More Economy Mee flicks! In Malaysia, economy mee noodles are found at wet markets (fish markets) for around 1.50 ringgit (45 cents in USA) these days, and are drenching in soy sauce. 🍜
Instead of the classic yellow noodles, we use Alkaline Wheat based noodles. We also have g*i lan, sambal with fried garlic, grilled quail with just a glaze of gluten free soy sauce and fermented tofu, and hazelnut! 🌰
This plus three other dishes make us our latest menu! Running throughout May! 🍃
Another New Addition to our menu! Economy Mee Noodles! We use Alkaline Noodles and Grilled Quail! 💥
