👨‍🍳🇮🇹 At Bobo's Steak and Crab, we're proud to have Executive Chef Andrea Froncillo at the helm of our kitchen. Born and raised in a small seaside town outside of Naples, Italy, Andrea's passion for cooking was passed down to him by his Nonna. From there, he received formal culinary training in Italy and went on to work on luxury cruise liners before finding his way to the United States in 1978.

Over the years, Andrea has worked at some of the most iconic restaurants in the country, including Ernie's in San Francisco. He's also opened numerous acclaimed venues in Nevada, Alaska, and California. But what really sets Andrea apart is his deep appreciation for the sensuality of texture, presentation, and fragrance.

Andrea's love for food and cooking extends beyond his work at Bobo's. He's remained friends with other world-renowned chefs from North Beach, including Juliano Serrano, Mario Ascione, and Giovanni Scala, and they still cook together whenever they can.

Whether he's making an appearance on a national TV cooking show or traveling to Italy to find new trends in food, Andrea's passion for food is undeniable. We're lucky to have him as our Executive Chef at Bobo's Steak and Crab! 👨‍🍳
