The EAGLE Cycling Club was in the house today! They even got our private dining room as a place to store their bikes while they enjoyed some tacos and margs. Living the life!

Aubrie Pick has been our go-to food photographer for years (see our website images), but she is even more so the person behind a million cookbooks you've paged through hungrily, and Bon Appetit articles you've landed on. She is a talent and a light and she is an integral part of the food world and a good friend of ours.

Since March, Aubrie has has been facing a crazy, unexpected fight with cancer which has required surgery upon surgery, and the loss of the ability to work to help support her husband and gorgeous, young daughter. It's been beyond words. Aubrie's friends (including who is writing this) are organizing a Go Fund Me for her. She's going to need so much financial assistance (honestly, she already needs it). Please consider chipping in. Everything helps!

It’s Friday. Or Fri-yay in the case of Florenis. Yes, this is an old-fashioned *still* photo (ahem ), but how about we all give it some serious ❤️? Florenis, after all, brings it to work every day—a hard job on the line at that—with her seriously red-headed flair.

Strawberry season is here! 🍓🍓🍓They add that perfect pop of sweetness to our kale salad.

Weekend stars now with a pasión

All hail the Marina Girl salad. Crispy, crunchy, healthy and named in honor of the mythical SF creature often spotted walking briskly in leggings and a cap, her ponytail swinging jauntily in the Pacific breeze. A classic since 2010.

Today is a throwback to 2 of our classic :
tacos made with no-antibiotic, humanely raised porky goodness and made with free-range chicken braised in a tomato-chipotle sauce. We can’t get enough of them!
