Community Health Leadership Program (CHLI) Workforce Development Training and Mentorship Program starting soon!

CHLI is a 16-week workforce development program that provides training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to train and support individuals interested in entering careers in sexual health and substance use health. Our mission is to develop and sustain a workforce reflective of the communities most impacted by HIV/HCV/STIs in San Francisco.

This personal and professional development and training program serves as an introduction to HIV/HCV/STD and drug-use health careers for individuals who may have limited to no experience in the field. Participants will join a supportive community of peers and passionate mentors to assist their learning and exploration of the field. Participants will receive weekly training and mentoring and engage in community-building, networking, and professional-skill-building activities. People with lived experience are encouraged to apply. Learn more by contacting with CHLI Mentorship Program Manager Althea Karwowski at [email protected].

This World AIDS Day, Shanti honors those we have lost and continues to show up authentically for those who are still here. We remember those who lost their lives to HIV/AIDS by providing spaces where clients can share stories of their loved ones and reflect on their own survival and resilience. We commit to providing consistent, non-judgmental emotional and practical support to our clients living with HIV through one-on-one care navigation and volunteer support, community-building activities, and support groups.
