I get asked a lot: what happens in case of bad weather? Here is an answer: Weather does not have the power to influence our emotions and excitement. Couples that are truly in love will feel no rain. On a side note, this beach reminds me of Iceland. Volcanic sand is truly amazing. We are so lucky to have such an incredible coastline.
Last time I photographed a couple sitting in the was right before covid in Venice. Here we go again. Charming, isn't it?
Some weddings are magical…
Another incredible wedding!
This wedding held at MOMA SF followed by a dinner at the Mourad restaurant. More photos will be posted in stories soon.
Congratulations to and
One of my favorites from Ruyan and Afshin’s wedding! As much as I want to claim a credit for this photo, I can’t. I didn’t take it. Kate did. Swipe to see my version. It’s awesome to have someone who can capture a moment like this by your side. Thank you Kate and congratulations to this gorgeous couple!
Some locations are simply magical! This is one of favorite shots from a session I had in Oregon last month with and . I am just starting to work on multiple events from March-April so thank you for your patience. So many beautiful weddings and engagements to review, sort and edit. Can’t wait to get to it!
After absolutely insane week with 3 large and two small weddings, an engagement session in Oregon, I am off to Santorini. It’s going to be amazing.
Many of you know that I am not very social person when it comes to Instagram, and instead I prefer a personal connection. It is true when it comes to my family, friends or clients. But for those who are curious, please follow my stories, I will try to document this journey.
Last year was one of the busiest in my career with over 300 couples and this year seems to be the same. Hopefully next year it will calm down a bit.
At this point of my career, I am I also supposed to calm down, but something still drives me to capture amazing moments. I think it is related to my family, friends and people who surround me. They motivate me so much. Everyone has important part in my journey and I am trying to return a favor every time I have a chance.
Also, I am grateful to my daughter for investing so much of her time to help me with weddings.
And finally, my wonderful wife who manages to help me with wedding clients while spending countless hours working with helping the Ukrainian refugees find the safe place during the war.
World can be a scary and yet a wonderful place. I love you all.
Not every ring bearer knows to hold the pillow straight. But it is always fun to watch their excitement.
A lot of people ask me when is a best time to photograph in San Francisco. Well this photo was taken around noon few days ago. For those who aim for sunset photos in San Francisco, keep in mind that there is a chance of fog and wind instead of a beautiful sunset.
Kids will always be kids… Photo Rule: the closer you get your camera to them, the funnier the photo can be.
I pulled my back muscles and found time to post since I can’t shoot. Yanelly and Guillermo had an amazing wedding. Congratulations! Some places are magical. Talent is not required. 😂 Just a beautiful bride and an amazing background. Oh… and some time for portraits before the ceremony.
Beautiful sunset in Yosemite. If 40 minutes one way hike after 3 hours drive is not a problem 😉.
Wineries are great for sunset engagement photos. This one was taken just a few moments before sun disappeared into the night.
Can you feel the love by looking at its shadow?
Who said red doesn’t work with City Hall background?
Don’t you want to hide from the world from time to time? I certainly do.
This image was take Just a few minutes before sunset. The best time to if you like silhouette photos. This photo looks calm but it was windy and pretty cold.
It’s always fun to see the random people interact with our couples during wedding day sessions. Groom’s expression is priceless.
Lately it’s hard for me to focus on posting when war is going on near the place me and my wife were born. It breaks our hearts to see it unfolds. Nothing can justify this unprovoked invasion and countless lives lost. But I am grateful and inspired by Ukrainian people who became a forward post of our democracy. They put up a fearless fight very few expected. They fight for us too. In less then a week the entire world was able to unite and stop playing chess with Putins regime. President Volodimir Zelensky and Ukrainian people are true heroes who are willing sacrifice their lives for freedom and teach the world how to defend democracy. They show that even in 21st century people can unite against a common evil. This is a reminder to any autocratic regime that there is a huge price to pay for any invasion but also a reminder for our democracy. It’s fragile and needs to be defended at all times.
This picture was taken in Italy, and I am so glad, this country finally recognized the threat and joined EU in massive sanctions against Putin.
Evil is only strong when people are fragmented but powerless when they are united.
I love spontaneous moments that happen during photo sessions. Funny fact: not all grooms scramble to save the bride.
When love is LITERALLY in the air… Seriously, have you ever seen an 8 stories tall glowing heart like this?
Congratulations to and and 🙏 for for being an awesome lighting assistant as well as the entire SS crew for help in planning this surprise proposal.
💍
Hold each other close and immerse in one another, and not only when you are being photographed. Do it for no reason!
Sun doesn’t have to be shining everyday… we can have our own inner sun.
It's a special day for these two and they are nothing but smiles! Happy proposal day!
What can be more romantic than getting married among the Venetian canals? Perhaps being the couple's photographer?
A quiet moment right after the with and .pope
💍
There is no need to say much when you photograph a ceremony officiated bt Mayor London Breed of San Francisco
An amazingly romantic proposal! He really put his heart and soul into it and we were so honored to be part of the magic!
Who doesn't love a brave couple, the one that doesn't mind getting their clothes a little wet on their wedding day?
We love authentic, candid moments! We love little kids immersed in the wedding ceremony and the ones who are surprised and distracted!
