♥️ is a love story. K***r is owned by a first-generation immigrant husband and wife team, Evgueni Koulikov and Jivka Koulikova, sharing their love of Bulgarian food with the Bay Area.

🌀 We’re big fans of their banitsa, a traditional Bulgarian hand-rolled phyllo dough, which is shaped as a beautiful spiral. It’s made with egg, ricotta, yogurt, and Bulgarian white cheese — they also offer a variation filled with leeks and chives. Don’t miss out on their kebapche, a picturesque plate of sausage, potatoes, cucumber, and a pillowy soft roll.

The sausage is a combination of wagyu beef and pork that’s seared to develop a dark crust while remaining juicy and springy. 🥔The rich and creamy gold potatoes are perfectly accompanied by their bright roasted red pepper spread. It’s like a leveled up version of ketchup and fries. If you prefer white meat, try their yogurt marinated chicken paired with a mixed green salad, herb polenta cake, and housemade eggplant and fennel relish.

🔥.sf is a taco truck that serves tacos, mulitas, tortas, burritos, and vampiros. Their meat options include birria, al pastor, and carne asada. If you’re feeling seafood, opt for the grilled salmon taco topped with pickled cabbage.

🌮Try their taco “El Fuego” that comes loaded with guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, onion, and salsa. If you’re unfamiliar with a mulita, it’s a quesadilla made by sandwiching the cheese and filling between two tortillas. If you have trouble choosing, go for their combo deluxe that includes a quesabirria, a taco, and a mulita.

🌽A neat option you won’t find at any other taco trucks are their keto tacos that swap corn tortillas for tortillas made from crispy cheese. You don’t want to miss out on their torta served on spongy telera bread and loaded with guac, pico de gallo, and grilled cheese. The can’t miss item on their menu is their vampiro. It’s a tortilla that’s crisped on the grill and topped with meat, onions, guacamole, and spicy salsa.

is famous for serving high-quality lobster caught in Maine. 🦞The delicate, sweet flavor of lobster is best enjoyed with little to no interference from other ingredients.

🧈 For its simplest form, order the Connecticut roll served with nothing more than butter and lemon. For a creamier texture, order the Maine roll mixed with a touch of mayo. If you want to try something more unique, go for the grilled cheese made with pepper jack and cheddar on Texas-style toast.

😋They also offer a bowl of thick and creamy lobster bisque brightened by a touch of sherry. Their New England clam chowder features rendered salt pork, sauteed onions, and potatoes. You can even find lobster tacos or quesadillas — both are served on a flour tortilla with pico de gallo and cilantro lime sauce. Don’t miss out on their tater tots loaded with lobster. For dessert, pick up a classic Maine whoopie pie.

🇲🇽🇵🇭 is a Filipino-Mexican fusion food truck started by Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo in 2010. Today, Señor Sisig is a San Francisco staple with multiple trucks and brick-and-mortar locations.

♥️ We love their sisig fries loaded with nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and pickled jalapeños. Don’t miss out on their tosilog burrito filled with adobo garlic rice, fresh tomatoes, and fried egg.

🌮Their sisig tacos are offered in pork, tocino, chicken, or tofu. They’re topped with onions, lettuce, fresh jalapeños, and cilantro cream sauce. Any item on the menu can be ordered fully vegan. They’re always working on new creations like tortas, wings, and cruncha-a-dillas. For dessert, grab an order of ube macapuno churros! 💜

🧁 is a Bay Area bakery famous for their mastery of ube. Owner Gemma Ballesteros started the business from a food truck in 2017. Since then, she’s opened a storefront in Hayward but continues to operate the truck at food events like Off the Grid!

💜 Ube, aka purple yam, is a tuber with a flavor similar to vanilla and nuts. This flavor profile makes it a popular choice for baked goods — at Marley’s Treats you can try it in the form of a cupcake, ice cream cone, or milkshake. You can even find bright purple ube cinnamon rolls and flan.

💫 They experiment with more than just sweets. For example, they collaborated on a chopped cheese sandwich where they made ube french rolls drizzled with ube sauce.

👀Keep an eye out for their purple food truck next time you visit an Off the Grid event.

🇲🇽 Melina’s Kitchen is a Mexican food truck with a large menu including burritos, tacos, and loaded fries. It’s owned by Luis Morales who has 28 years of kitchen experience. He decided to open his food truck because he wanted to communicate directly with his customers.

🦐 A popular menu item is the shrimp taco. It’s made with shrimp tossed in a spicy marinade then seared on a flat top grill. It’s topped with slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle aioli. It’s a light, refreshing dish that’s best enjoyed under the summer sun.

🍟 The loaded fries are drizzled with cheese sauce and then stacked with carne asada, pico de gallo, and crema. The portion is pretty big, so you’re going to want to share with a friend. If you stop by, make sure to say hi to Luis and his team!

When .ca started in 2020, they were going up against the spicy chicken sandwich boom in fast food restaurants. ❤️‍🔥 Yet, they managed to create a unique take on the dish that’s loved across the Bay Area. You can try their crispy, hand-battered chicken with a variety of toppings and heat levels.

🌋For the full Chick N’ Bros experience, order the fully-loaded “Nashville Fire” with your choice of heat between cayenne, ghost pepper, Trinidad scorpion, or Carolina reaper. It’s topped with their “bro sauce” — an orange adobo aioli that adds a touch of fruitiness. It’s also drizzled with their white sweet and tangy “chick sauce” that balances the richness of the sandwich. Finally, it’s stacked with pickles, purple cabbage, paprika, chili oil, and honey.

🥋 They also offer the “Chick Norris” that pairs their fried chicken with nothing more than pickles and barbecue sauce. Don’t miss out on their mango habanero sauce.

🦐 y is a food truck owned by Gian Lopez that specializes in a shrimp and chorizo combination. He’s a former teacher on the Eastside of San Jose and DJ. Shrimp and chorizo is a better take on the traditional steak and shrimp surf and turf.

🌮The subtle flavor and snappy texture of the shrimp perfectly contrast the crispy, heavily-spiced chorizo. At Shrimp’n Ain’t Easy, you can try the pairing in various forms. For first timers, go for the vampiro — a crispy tortilla with a layer of grilled cheese, cotija, cilantro, and pickled red onions. The mixture is also great in burrito form loaded with black beans, rice, avocado, and pico de gallo.

🥔They also sell a smoked baked potato — The Big Papa — stacked with shrimp, chorizo, green onions, and crema. Regardless of what you order, make sure to try the pineapple chipotle salsa.

Catch them at our season finale this Thursday, August 15th in San Jose from 5-9pm! 📍357 E Taylor Street, San Jose

🌺 is a Filipino food truck owned and operated by Rod Reyes and Selina Wong. Their menu features fusions of Filipino and Mexican cuisine. A couple fan favorites are their crispy lumpia stuffed with beef birria and jack cheese and pork sisig street tacos.

At Hawaiian-themed event, they served a Hawaiian plate lunch with unique creations. 🦐 Their bacon and shrimp katsu had a crisp panko shell with a juicy, tender filling. Their peach and mango katsu sauce brightened the rich flavors and added a fruity backbone.

🍖Another item on the plates was oxtail and pork belly delicately steamed in taro leaves until meltingly tender. You don’t want to miss their ube black sesame horchata.

🇲🇽🇵🇭This week’s we’re heading to .cheesem0sa! As the name suggests, Amelia’s Mexipino Cuisine fuses Mexican and Filipino dishes. Don’t miss out on their fusion horchatas made with pandan or ube.

❤️‍🔥 Their pancit, a noodle dish from the Philippines, is tossed with aromatic al pastor. Another hybrid dish are their burritos stuffed with sisig. You can also order a plate that includes both tacos and noodles. Ask for their orange salsa that provides a subtle burst of heat.

👌🏽Their birria is tender while managing to retain its juiciness. The consome is amongst the best you’ll find in the Bay Area. Their birria torta stacked with cheese, onion, cilantro, and salsa is perfect for soaking up the consome. 🍜 If you prefer, enjoy their birria in soup form by ordering a pho birria or pho ramen.

🌮 This week’s we’re taking a look where the Vietnamese flavors provide a unique twist to dishes like french fries and tacos. 🍜 One of their most popular dishes is bo’rria — an amalgamation of bo, the Vietnamese word for beef, and birria, a Mexican braised meat dish. The meat is flavored with warm spices used in Vietnamese braises.

✨Try the bo’rria in taco or quesadilla form. My favorite dish on the menu is their pork belly loaded fries. It riffs on the idea of bacon loaded fries but swaps the cured pork belly for caramelized pork belly. The pork is sweet, tender and rich.

🍟 They do a great job getting the french fries crispy which provides textural contrast with the sticky pork. The fries are also sprinkled with fresh herbs and a savory sauce to round out the flavors. Go for the large order of fries and share with the table.

☀️ Check out our market schedule to see when 3 Brothers Kitchen will pop up next!

This week’s installment of ! A deep dive into the delicious Ceviche from 🐠

🇪🇨“Ceviche & Co is run by the Moncayo family who immigrated from Ecuador. Their namesake, ceviche, is made by marinating seafood in lime juice to denature the proteins and infuse the dish with a bright flavor. While the dish originated in Peru, it’s prominent in Ecuadorian cuisine.

🍍 Their ceviche of the day is loaded with pineapple, diced tomato, pickled red onions, and latin corn nuts. There’s a handful of acidic ingredients layered upon each other without any of them stealing the spotlight.

😋 The corn nuts, which look like unpopped popcorn kernels, provide bursts of crunch to add variety to the dish’s textures. They’re served with tortilla chips and orange segments; so, you can load up a chip and add a spritz of juice for each bite. It’s the perfect dish for a hot summer day.

🌽 A customer favorite is their chile verde empanadas filled with corn, beans, onions, red peppers, and poblano peppers, and a blend of five cheeses. Don’t sleep on their fried plantains topped with cotija, pineapples, and chipotle sauce
