Starting this Monday off with a material palette that embodies the client’s drywall work and the project concept, "Raw to Refined." Emphasizing the journey from raw to refined, the palette explores textures and materials that showcase the transformation from the initial stages of drywalling to the final polished result.

We are excited to share that the adidas (GOLD, Performance Zone and RED) has been honored with the ASID FOCUS Wellness Award!

Health, wellness, and well-being are at the heart of this project's design. The campus invites adidas employees to a workplace visibly committed to personal agency and community connection. The Performance Zone was designed to offer a workout room, weight room, yoga and dance studio, cycling studio, and juice bar. The LEED gold certification for the GOLD and Performance Zone buildings incorporates a high standard for indoor air quality and building materials. Maximizing natural light in open areas and blurring the boundaries between indoor settings and outdoor areas were a main focus. Playful branding, authentic storytelling through sport, and a celebration of natural materials provide beauty and delight throughout each space.

This achievement is a testament to the amazing collaboration between Studio O+A, LEVER Architecture and Turner Construction Company - Portland. A huge thank you to adidas for letting us be part of this fantastic journey!

Studio O+A is thrilled to have partnered with Intuit Mailchimp's Wink creative team along with TVS to bring Intuit Mailchimp's new Atlanta offices to life. The goal of Intuit's Atlanta innovation hub was to create a workplace of the future for its exceptional workforce, and to create an experience that gives employees state-of-the-art technologies and best-in-class services to enable them to do the best work of their lives. The space was designed for hybrid work and encourages employees to spend time together collaborating, sparking creativity and innovation.

HiP HiP hooray! We are excited to share that O+A's Senior Designer - Brand, Chelsea Hedrick has been named as the HiP Branding Design Rising Star of this year's Interior Design Magazine . Chelsea’s talent for applying branding elements to physical spaces makes her a natural for the kind of total-immersion design we practice at Studio O+A. Her experience working for a Western design firm in Asia has refined her ability to blend cultural influences and manage complex aesthetic challenges. In the office, Chelsea is known for her signature nail style and always having a strong coffee in her freshly painted hand. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys packing a lunch, driving to the coast from San Francisco with her fiancé, and enjoying the soothing sounds of the ocean from the tailgate of their SUV or rooftop tent. Congrats, Chelsea! 🎉

When this confidential client hired O+A to design their new 10-story workplace in Los Angeles, California, they described their desire for a space that evoked who they are as a culture, what they do, and who they want to be in the future. With a multitude of internal campaigns and projects geared towards representation, supporting under-represented groups, and showcasing cultural diversity through storytelling, it became clear to the team at O+A that this needed to be at the center of the design. adidas GOLD, RED, and Performance Zone buildings are featured in the 2024 special issue of FRAME Magazine in honor of last year's 'Large Office of the Year' FRAME Award win!

The project consisted of two newly constructed buildings and one renovation of a previous hospital building. Three buildings—an office structure (GOLD), a boutique fitness center (Performance Zone), and a sales office (RED). The focus was to translate adidas products into architectural elements, enable them for future flexibility, and bring adidas brand values into the design: inclusivity, credibility, and sustainability.
