The Oakland Treasure Hunt I created as a benefit for Game Theory Academy takes place this coming Saturday, October 21, noon to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Oakland. Second annual Oakland Treasure Hunt | San Francisco Treasure Hunts San Francisco-based creators of the best and largest Treasure Hunt events in the world as well as corporate and private sleuthing events
On October 17th, San Francisco Treasure Hunts is again creating an Oakland Treasure Hunt to benefit Game Theory Academy. GTA is an Oakland-based education nonprofit that teaches economic decision-making skills to East Bay youth.
The hunt begins and ends at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza at Broadway and 14th Street in Oakland. The hunt area will cover downtown and uptown Oakland and the clues will be similar in style to our annual Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt.
Registration starts at noon; winners will be announced at 4:15 pm. There will be snacks available from local youth-run food vendors.
Tickets are $30 per person through Oct 16 and $35 at the door, and there are 4 divisions: Expert, Novice, Family, and Youth.
