Photographs from a preliminary maternity shoot to plan the main theme better.

The prep shoot enabled the couple get comfortable in front of the lens, and the flow of ideas challenged us to implement the theme of the final shoot better. After all, a photo is all about sharing a story! (CO-PILOT SERIES COMING SOON)

The sun cast a faint yellow light throughout the slowly gathered evening while I sat on the edge of the field of lights. Even before sunset, Sensorio is visually compelling. The installation comprising small glass spheres on narrow stems, powered by solar panels, filled in gradually as the night progressed. The tiny white tendrils that illuminate after dark, look almost lifelike as they reflect the setting sun. While at the field, the low-light and camera equipment guidelines aren’t quite conducive for photography, but the scenes are worth capturing especially when evening colors are deepening into blue and black. Overall, the enchanting experience at Sensorio Paso Robles was unique instilling a palpable sense of inspiration and clarity.
