Connie & Wes chose the Hakone Garden for their intimate wedding. The day started with getting ready at their parents house nearby and then the first look at an early morning time at the Bamboo Garden in Hakone. Then we walked back to the Pond area and they read the beautiful notes they wrote to each other. Of course, the tears started flowing. I was there as a fly on the wall, kept on clicking my shutter and then proceeded taking some portraits for them. Then we were ready for the ceremony which officiated by a close friend of the family. Here are my favorite images from the Wedding.

Photographed this fun and cool couple earlier this month and I made a 8 minutes Slideshow to tell the story of the whole day. I am loving how smoothly the whole day went and how it was full of fun and excitement. Hope you can feel that from the pictures. The bride's parents came from my birth town, Jakarta in Indonesia. During the Pandemic in 2020, I shot a few very intimate backyard/zoom weddings but usually it only lasts 3 or 4 hours and usually only attended by 2 to 4 people. 2 weeks ago I shot an 8 hour Wedding for the first time in 14 months attended by 50 people, and it felt amazing. And to top it of, the Bride and Groom are super fun and you can tell from their images. They were married at private land in Fremont hill, a part of an amazing 900 acres property. Gosh, I really miss photographing Weddings and Events full of happy folks. I had to send a slideshow sample to my clients and as I was looking at the past weddings's slideshows on my website; I can't help feeling how I miss the human interactions, documenting the happy and emotional moments, love interactions with families and great friends. I think we take a lot of things for granted. I really hope that we can get back to normal soon, which I would guess that would be in mid 2021. Be safe everyone.

A few images from Birthday Party Celebration at Hotel Valencia in Santana Row

Kirsten and Paul decided to get married at the Los Gatos Oak Meadow Park on a rainy Sunday morning. No guests, just the married couple, an officiant and myself. The beautiful short ceremony included the most beautiful vows recited in turns by both of them. You can certainly feel their beautiful love and connection as you browse through these images. I feel so lucky to be a part of their intimate Wedding Day. I can't wait to photograph their picnic reception to celebrate their Wedding in the coming month of May.
