Today I am chatting with Arc-Fy indie developer Dennis Huang to discuss "Human Centric Web Design", his new indie game on Steam called TimesTrials a 2D Tetris style Math Game for early child development, Crowdfunding on Indiegogo, and more!

Congratulations to the winners and participants of the Startup Challenge, held over the weekend at the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sacramento State. Our founder Douglas Younger III, got the opportunity to judge this event and witness the intriguing pitches the participants gave.

The Startup Challenge included two cohorts: The Catalyst Cohort and The Traction Cohort. The Catalyst Cohort consisted of brand-new ideas and The Traction Cohort consisted of existing companies.

The Catalyst Cohort Winners

1st Place: Organized Legacy. Organized Legacy simplifies how families gather and keep track of need-to-know information for loved ones when they pass.
2nd Place: Ayllu. Ayllu addresses negative experiences with dating apps and catfishing.

The Traction Cohort Winners

1st Place: Purpuratus. Purpuratus makes kelp restoration profitable by harnessing the natural value of an urchin.
2nd Place: NutraCompass. NutraCompass is a white-label gym app that assists clients and helps increase retention rates in gyms.
