It's officially the start of our cookie kit season!! Pre-orders are now being accepted for Halloween cookie kits available for pick-up starting October 12th, and this year's kits include pumpkin, cauldron, ghost, and candy corn cookie shapes.

Our Halloween cookie kits (6 or 12- count) come boxed with bagged cookies, 4 bags of icing (3 bags for the 6 count boxes), sprinkles, and easy-to-follow decorating instructions to follow! You can also opt for a kids kit with includes spreadable icing (instead of bagged icing) and icing spatulas. Additional bagged icing is also available as an add-on.

Pricing is as follows:

6-coun kitt: 6 cookies (3 designs, 2 cookies each), 3 bags of icing, sprinkles, and DIY cookie decorating instructions - $25

12-count kit: 12 cookies (4 designs, 3 cookies each), 4 bags of icing, sprinkles, and DIY cookie decorating instructions - $40

Kids kit: swap out icing bags for 4oz containers of icing and icing spatulas - no charge

Additional bags of icing: $5.00/ea

Well, if this is our last cake, then the smile on his face and the absolute joy this cake gave him just reaffirmed why we started baking cakes 10 years ago. It was to elicit this exact reaction. When he was so excited mom had to hold him back, I know I did my job well.

A huge thank you to for being the best co-pilot and husband this girl could ever have. Many of your cakes were baked by that man there, and I took the handoff from him to frost and decorate. We make a great team, babe.

And to you to My sister from another mister. We've been through some crazy adventures, and I couldn't be more thrilled that you're taking off on a new one. Don't think I won't be joining you when I can :-)

It's been a wonderful 10 years, everyone. Thank you to each and every one of you who let us into your homes, your celebrations, and your lives. We've been blessed to become parts of your families and close friends to some.

It's the start of the end of an era...

Sweets By Design is starting the transition to closing its doors. It's been 10 years of being a part of your lives, and we couldn't be more thankful.

We're starting this process by selling our cookie cutters, signs, and miscellaneous supplies. If you're interested, come to the Bakery Sale being held at Ana's Bakery on Sunday, June 2nd from 10am to 1pm. Cookie cutters are selling from $0.50/ea to $10/set, depending on the designs. Other equipment is priced to sell as well.

Thank you all for your unwavering support all of these years. I told myself this would be easy, buy I shed a few tears after setting everything up for the sale tomorrow. Lots of great memories here, and I'm hoping they go to a new home and continue to make even more memories ans bring more smiles for years to come.

A carnival themed birthday cake for Merle and Lorna. So much fun to make!

I LOVED the creative freedom with this cake! Mom said the birthday girl wanted a gingerbread house and loves cats. This was our interpretation. So cute!!

Some VERY custom cupcakes and cake pops for a VIP customer! I absolutely loved sourcing all of the specialty toppers, sprinkles and even luster dusts to create those antique edible pearl sprinkles.

A topper to complete the customer's pre-made cake. Unfortunately, we didn't h a ve room in the schedule to make the entire cake but we could creat this adorable topper for the birthday girl.

4am wake up calls foe the last two weeks straight require some foot TLC. We hope everyone loved the cakes as much as we loved making them!

This year, we're offering gingerbread cookie kits in either gingerbread people or gingerbread snowflakes designs. These kits are $30 for white icing bags and sprinkles or $35 for three icing colors and sprinkles.

Place your shipped order kits by 12/10 and your pickup orders by 12/12. Pickups are scheduled for 12/17-12/18.

$35 for spreadable kits, $38 for piping bag kits

Ugly sweater kits - 12 sweaters with 4 colors iof icing and coordinating sweater sprinkles (sugar cookie piping bag kits only) $45 per kit

Gingerbread kits - 12 each gingerbread people or mixed snowflakes with white or colored piping bag icing. $30 for white icing, $35 for 3 colors of icing.

The cookie kits come with 12 cookies, four icing colors (either spreadable pots or piping bags) and Halloween themed sprinkles. Spreadable kits are $35 and piping bag kits are $38.

Our cocoa bombs come with sprinkles in the following flavors: dark chocolate salted caramel, dark chocolate, white chocolate or zebra (dark and white chocolate). We are also offering character bombs (shown in the photo) in either white chocolate or zebra flavors. Sprinkles bombs are $6/ea and character bombs are $10/ea.
