Just came back from an amazing trip to New Zealand. Got some sweet light there when taking sunrise photos. That reminds me a crazy sunrise during the New England trip last year at Acadia National Park, Maine.

Fall at first light. It was a crazy sunrise at Groton State Forest, Vermont. The whole sky was lit up with pink, and crimson color. The fall color was even richer under the light.

Bash Bish Falls is the highest waterfall in Massachusetts. Color of Leaves was starting to turn when we visited last year. Berkshires of western Massachusetts has some gorgeous fall color views including this one.

Lake Willoughby, Vermont. I didn't know about this place when I started to plan our trip to New England last year. When I saw it, it I immediately caught my eyes and I decided to add it to our itinerary, despite it means 3 extra hours of driving. But it certainly didn't disappoint us when we enjoyed the sunset there. And the fall color was at prime when we visited.

Last fall season at Profile Lake, Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire. It was a nice sunset at the lake surrounded by full of fall colors. While I found someone designed the interesting foreground that I could use, a maple leaf "trapped" among the rocks.

Smugglers' Notch, Vermont. It is a great place to visit during fall and winter season in Vermont. Driving through the forest and winding road was a fun experience. Viewing the valley embraced by colorful trees from sky by drone is definitely another one.

Fall is around the corner! Starting to post some fall photos to catch up the trend as everyone is doing so. Last year we visit New England. We have covered several states like Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and etc. I honestly didn't expect fall color from Acadia would be as impressive as Vermont and New Hampshire. But this colorful wood at Sieur de Monts Spring was really a surpise. There was a display of full spectrum of transitioning fall color from green, yellow, orange to red, as well as other colors like white, brown and gray. Walking quietly along the path in early morning was a wonderful experience.
