San Lorenzo Family Help Center Helping Hands Donations Please consider donating. We rely on volunteers and financial donations to help us operate.

New Summer Hours. We provide groceries and premade meals to help feed low income families in the unincorporated area. Call to schedule an appointment if you need assistance.

Plan ahead! We will be open Friday May 24th 10:30-3, then closed until Friday May 31st. Please call for an appointment. To prevent lines from forming, walk-in appointments are not available. We are unable to have the Mobile Pantry on Saturday due to high school graduations. Slzhelp.org

Spring Food Drive! We are currently in need of pasta, shelf stable soy or almond milk and breakfast foods. Can you help? Bring shelf stable foods to donate to the SLZ Earth Day event April 20th. Look for our booth in the drive through circle. .org

Not Going Hungry On Our Watch

With gratitude, so many families received extra food today thanks to an anonymous angel. We received a case of every item on our needs list.

There will be a Food Drive at the SLz Homeowners Association Earthday to benefit the community food pantry. See requested foods. Please no beans, rice or canned vegetables.

Singh and Ritu decided to help others by purchasing food and donating it to us as their gift for Singh as they celebrate his birthday. We wish you a very joyful celebration and thankyou for sharing and caring for others

If you are receiving CalFresh and experienced food loss due to a power outage from the recent winter storms that began January 31, 2024, or experienced a power outage due to other reasons, you may be eligible for CalFresh replacement benefits.

Requests for replacement benefits must be submitted within 10 calendar days from the date of food loss.

For those over 60. Lunch time support

Senior meals prepared by Spectrum Community Services, Inc. are BACK at Kenneth Aitken Senior & Community Center 17800 Redwood Road!!! Hayward Area Recreation & Park District

Join us for a tasty, nutritious lunch Monday through Thursday from 12pm to 12:30pm. . Lunch is also served daily at the Hayward Area Senior Center, 22325 N. 3rd Street Monday through Friday, from 12pm to 12:30pm. Anyone who is aged 60 or better is eligible to register to come get a meal.

You must register first and make lunch reservations three days in advance. Spectrum requests a $4 donation towards each meal or get our valued 10-meal ticket for $35.
