The all-ages SLO County Jazz Federation Jam at The Mark is a happening scene. 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month (7-9 pm).

The Mark is continuing the jazz jams on the 2nd and 4th tuesdays of the month through the summer with Max Roberts leading a quintet (Ben, Will, Wyatt, and Matt are the other members). Our first jam is the 11th. Please spread the word and feel free to come and join us if you are free.

2024 "Young Jazz" scholarship winners at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church on SLO on March 17, 2024. Presented and funded by the San Luis Obispo County Jazz Federation since 1984, this year's winners included (in order of solos) Spencer Hafley, Ryan Nolan, Skylar Cappelli, Vanessa Rivera, Wyatt Willard and Miles Kennedy. Miles was the recipient of the Federation's top award, the "Bob Harway Excellence in Jazz Award". Rhythm section included Gary Drysdale, Ken Hustad and Darrell Voss. Producer of the concert was Dave Becker.
