π Last August, our staff kicked off the school year with Thinking Maps, and the results are amazing! π For some teachers, it was a journey of new learning, while for others, it was a refreshing dive into strategies weβve cherished over the years. π‘ Check out this Tree Map example: With the guidance of our mild-moderate teacher, Mrs. Azvedo, students categorized things leprechauns can do, that they have, and what makes them lucky. π After crafting their Tree Map, students utilized the vocabulary to compose simple yet engaging sentences. π Such visual patterning not only enhances language development, but also strengthens writing skills. π³βοΈ
