The California Dream Act Service Incentive Grant Program (DSIG) encourages California Dream Act Application (CADAA) students with a Cal Grant B award to receive aid upon performing community or volunteer service. CSAC will award up to $3,000 per academic year to 2,500 eligible students. The grant will be available for up to 8 semesters or 12 quarters while they have an active Cal Grant B award.

⚖️ On July 16, 2021, a Federal District Court in Texas issued a ruling in Texas v. United States limiting the policy and declaring it unlawful. More analysis will come as we learn about forthcoming USCIS operational guidance about DACA but for now…here are a few key points about the recent decision.

Remember to stay involved and raise your voice! 🗣

DACA recipients and their allies must demand that protect DACA and, more importantly, that Congress finally provides a permanent and inclusive solution for ALL undocumented immigrants.
