Celebrating our local heroes during Community Helpers Week! 🐶🚒👩‍⚕️👮‍♂️ Our preschoolers are learning about the amazing people who keep our community safe. Thank you for all you do, heroes!

March has been nothing but whirlwind of excitement! Skipping to a Scottish bagpiper, taking on Highland dancing, and building traps to catch our very own leprechaun! 🍀

From caterpillar to butterfly, we are cultivating our very own Monarch Habitat! Thank you to our PVC helpers for fostering magic in our yard for years to come!

Snowy slopes and rosy cheeks were all the talk here at CLP this past week. In our winter wonderland of a forest, the children and their families got to ride a sled, paint and melt ice blocks, build snowmen, and even start snowball frenzies! We are sledding head on into 2024 with many more amazing things to look forward to!🛷❄️☃️🌲

Nothing beats nature walks! The children got to discover all that nature has to offer while walking the paseos next to CLP. From snails, to slugs, to sticks, rocks, and leaves- the possibilities were endless as the children explored while on their adventure!☀️🐌🐞🌱

Lights, sirens, doctors, oh my! Recently CLP was visited by many of our own local, community helpers! We would like to give a special thank you to our very own CLP families for helping make “Community Helper” week possible! The children had an amazing time learning from the police officers, doctor, dentist, and firemen! Thank you to all community helpers for your services!🚨🚔🚒🩺🥼

This past month we had a puppet show visit the school! The children had so much fun meeting all the puppets and their silly personalities! There is never a dull moment here at CLP! 🎭😜🐵

This weeks weather forecast called for gloves, beanies, and snowballs!❄️☃️🧤The kids and their families had “SNOW” much fun sledding, painting and making snowballs! What a great way to start the year off!

Happy Holidays from our CLP family to yours. This month was filled with so much merry and joy from the Christmas Program to Santa’s visit and decorating our yard. With your help we were able to donate toys, upon toys, upon TOYS to our local sheriff’s department! Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year💚🎅🏼✨🤍🎄❤️

Our enrichment classes have finally started! With Miss Chloe teaching art & music and Miss Lisa teaching science & nature, you could only imagine the creative things they have in store for the children! ☀️🌿🎨🎶

This past month children used their 5 senses to observe pomegranates, they used the natural juice and seeds of pomegranates to create art, they built 3D structures with apples and toothpicks, and made shakers with grains, seeds, and pasta!

This past week we had a rockin’ concert in the forest! The kids had the chance to express themselves through music and dance. And… ohhh did they have fun ‘feeling’ the music! Another great day at CLP!

We’re looking forward to a special event each month this school year for our 50th anniversary! 🦋💙👦

Our summer highlight this year was watching the children creatively work together to build large rivers and lakes, digging moats all around the sandbox!

Summer camp 2022 was filled with so much fun, joy, and laughter. We dressed up as dinosaurs, strung our own leis, painted sail boats, lived as pioneers, ate s’more, and much more! What a great summer!

We are jumping into summer here at CLP! With the early onset of heat, we are staying cool with water play all day! What are some ways you keep cool in the summer?☀️💦🥵

We had a blast at our end of the year celebration! Thank you to all our CLP families and friends spending the morning with us celebrating the kids’ accomplishments this year. We wish all of our graduating preschool students the best in their future educational journeys and adventures in life! Congratulations class of 2022, we are so proud of you!🤍🎓

🚨🚔 Did you hear lights and sirens near CLP? Then you heard Officer Sosa, one of our very own parents dropped by for a visit. She brought her police car and some badges for the kids to be officers for the day! The kids had the opportunity to hop in the car and get a closer look at all her gear! Thank you Officer Sosa for visiting our school! 🚔🚨

“What’s the difference between the red fire trucks and the mint green fire trucks?” The other day a forest service fire truck visited the school and firemen showed the children all the equipment they use. The kids even got the chance to meet Smokey Bear and learn about his fire safety rules! Such a fun filled day🐻🔥🚒👩🏼‍🚒
