Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) is a result of exposure to traumatic events such as war, violence, injury, and death. Exposure to these events can train the autonomic nervous system (body, brain, and mind) to be in a constant state of stress i.e. fight or flight. Most people who experience symptoms of PTS(D) do not know that their own brains have been changed by stress (Brain Change AKA Amygdala hijack). SPARTA educates participants on how the body, brain, and mind are trained into a constant state of stress and the common behaviors associated with a condition.
