Hello, you amazing people. It is time to expand the reach of classical music to include the Yòrùbá cultural rhythm, language and tonality.
Come join me as I present this amazing concert of West African Yòrùbá culture meets Western classical music. It will be extremely exciting and delicious. Come witness African Pianism and African call and response in counterpoint style.
This is truly not to be missed. Come see another side of yours truly. Can't wait to see you all there
Just the little things make the difference. I woke up to a trail of papers. But the kind of papers that make the day brighter. Now, a drive along the coast, with coffee stops, possible hike and onwards to a destination dinner.
Thank you my love. So thoughtful and creative. This happened within minutes, cause I just walked past those stairs. Sneaky, but wonderful!
So cool.
The “Peppered Plantains” is another fan favorite, but let’s see a little history on these beauties.
Plantain has a long and varied history that dates back to 500 B.C. and originates from Southeast Asia, specifically Malaysia and Indonesia. Traders introduced it to India, and Alexander the Great introduced it to Europe in 327 B.C. Plantains made there way to Madagascar through trade with Asian and Arab merchants. In the 1500s, plantain and banana trade, along with yams and other crops, contributed to the wealth and prosperity of the Bantu Kingdom in central and southern Africa. Plantain remains a popular staple food in Uganda and other former Bantu regions. The Portuguese Franciscan Monk introduced plantain to the Caribbean island of Santo Domingo in 1516, having discovered it on the Canary Islands, brought there by his compatriots a century earlier. Today, plantain is popularly consumed boiled, baked, fried, or mashed in various parts of the world, including Florida, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Japan, Malaysia, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, and Brazil.

Why Did We Move?
Many people have asked us: “Why did you move from your old location in Abbott Square?” Essentially, the food market offered us an opportunity that we could not refuse. Although at first we weren’t sure that moving would be constructive for us (the new area was smaller than we were used to), the economic benefits that came with the move persuaded us that as long as we remained in Abbott Square, it would be worth the temporary aggravation to relocate. After a redesign of our equipment needs and cooking procedures, we have come to find that in adapting to our new home, the changes we made have resulted not only in improving the delivery time of our menu items, but have also enhanced the taste and consistent quality of our food.
We are a reborn Veg On The Edge. Come and taste the difference!
