Lodge Tea was traditionally used in Native American sweat lodge ceremonies. It is incredibly good for lung health and immunity. Ours contains Pine Needles, Stinging Nettle, and Osha root (aka Bear Root).

Pine Needles protect our DNA and RNA while working as an expectorant and decongestant.

Stinging Nettles help alleviate allergies and help the kidneys discharge higher levels of toxic waste.

Osha Root had been used to treat most lung related illnesses for over 2,000 years, including asthma.

The energy of this year, beginning February 1st, will make it easier to be direct in relationships, pursue creative projects, listen to your intuition, and to act humbly yet honorably. You should notice a vast difference between the Water Tiger and the Metal Ox seeing that the Ox year presented as slow, harsh, and hard working with little reward.

As many of you know, we are an elixir bar based in the ancient philosophies of alchemy; Our motto is “As Above So Below” and our inspiration is healing and transformation. Alchemy has had many different names and many different cultures. Ancient alchemical art and tools depict physical manifestations of these philosophies (turning led into gold) but these were merely projections of the internal transmutation at hand. Alchemy has always been about the refinement of the mind and body through psychology, philosophy, and medicine. These ancient societies that partook in this transformation often did so as a whole or in large groups. It was not as much an individual’s burden as it is today. Thousands of years of symbols and hidden meanings have been passed on through generations and have arrived to us presenting more curious then ever. But they are not shallow, they are not blind, and they are not ignorant. Alchemists had more knowledge then we could ever know, and it is our job to keep that alive!
