Training Philosophy
The main priority of the Strength and Conditioning department is to keep the athletes healthy and improve performance. Programs are designed to improve movement quality in order to increase the durability of each athlete. Free weight multi joint exercises are the staple for all athletic teams who train at SMC. Thank you to for allowing me to be apart of this great organization for the last 6+ years. My term as Southwest Regional Coordinator has ended and I have made the decision to decline the second term. It was great meeting and getting to know hundreds of professionals in the field during the various events I hosted and attended. 💥I will be hosting my last clinic virtually on August 1st💥

The current obligations with kids in the school system is extreme at this moment - in the fall I will inevitably need to be their at home teacher due to the Pandemic. Also, I will free up some personal time to expand roles in business and read/write/present greater amounts of information. I will continue to speak at clinics - hopefully still, personal, and with joint companies.

Took our depth jumps to another level with an assisted band variation. First time giving these a try with this group. Goal is to use the elasticity of the band to pull the athlete down fast - then quickly transfer that downward momentum to a bouncy/quick ground contact vertical jump.
