A Kindergarten teacher at Palms elementary school in LA capitalized on his student’s interest in insects by developing this systems map to help students understand butterflies’ essential roles in their habitats. 🙌

With this knowledge, students planted a REAL garden to attract butterflies, and test their research on how plants and insects thrive together in a system.
