Tested a de-aging app and I have to say, “it’s pretty accurate,” but I prefer looking more confident in my risky behavior.

Phase 1 of grandpa’s vise restoration complete. I originally was going to do a more extensive restore, but didn’t want to remove all evidence of grandpa, so I left a lot of his marks on purpose, but smoothed out the manufacturing defects. My favorite thing about this vise is, 10+ years after taking it out of my grandparent’s garage, it still smells like their house.

So happy to be unleashing these hilarious guys into the wild with a scuffed and torn, 90s-style pitch deck. I’d love to see a FX pickup “COWBIRDS” and “The Tracks” to create a 90s at 9 Night.

Oh, and last week announced that Geena Davis’ show “I Can by Friday” is in development at Whistle Studios & OpenGate Entertainment, for which we did the pitch.

Last night, Grace and I looked through IMDb, and saw that several of our projects have made it into development. Then this morning we received news that picked up one of our titles! 🙏🏼 So exciting to watch projects move forward. 🙌🏼

It’s rare to catch a glimpse of Jimmy on social media, but he’s confident that his new bodyguard will protect him. And he needs one because last week Jimmy came dangerously close to pi***ng off Kanye West by making a group of guys erupt with laughter while Kanye was preaching.

I saw my better self in Chadwick Boseman. He moved us giant steps forward toward equality. Watching “42” at home and “Black Panther” at the Cinerama Dome, I know his soul lives on in me and my sons. Rest In Power. My heart goes out to his family. @ Wakanda Forever

My new favorite lighting setup definitely gives a nod to Bohemian Rhapsody with inescapable notes of spiritual awakening. And it makes your eyes look pretty.

Last night I went over to Carl’s. Mel was watching TV in the living room, flipping between a re-aired Dodger game and polar bear documentary, while learning how to use the remotes. Larry had been tasked with going through closets and drawers that hadn’t been opened in years or decades to create an inventory for the Bonham’s auction. Larry showed me a couple of tarnished brass-brad-bound manuscripts from the 1950s. One was from when Carl wasn’t allowed in the writers room on “YOUR SHOW OF SHOWS,” so he would find his own room and write by himself. Another was a first draft of a novel from around the same time. I would have loved to sit down right there and read those pages, but Larry asked if I had time to go to South Beverly Grill, and I was happy to go hang out with Larry, like friends, like we used to. We drank two Manhattans out of water glasses, both had sushi and a salad. Larry has been vegan since January, when I urged him a second time to watch the Netflix documentary, “GAMECHANGERS”. He said I changed his life, his cholesterol dropped by half, and he has more energy with the kids. Larry is approaching his 60s and has a three-year-old son and a newborn baby girl. Anyway, what I’m trying to “get at” is, while reminiscing about the past eight years, Larry said, “Carl taught me how to order a cup of coffee.” I hadn’t heard this one before. So, he acted out, “You are the best person there is to make me a cup of coffee.” It clicked right away. Yes, making people happy to help you was the sheer essence of Carl’s charm and success. I’ve tried to convey this idea to people a few times, but never as succinctly as Larry had just put it, “Carl taught me how to order a cup of coffee.” Brilliant. So, in addition to sharing his key to success, Carl showed Larry how to tell a perfect story.

This is the first movie poster where I appear in the cast. It was a fun day of shooting, and low pressure because I was allowed to ad lib all my lines. Everyone involved in this is amazing. Can’t wait to see it screened.

Had a great time working on this poster with Kevin Ryan. I feel lucky to be part of this project.

Last week we were working on a project with Trippie Redd in it, and when I found out that he’s from Canton, Ohio, like me, I stayed up extra late to make sure his deck was extra polished.

Looking forward to completing this science fiction / sports / action movie deck this week.

Last night, after dinner at The Rainbow, we hit The Whiskey for a free Australian Bushfire benefit. The bands had rockstars like the guitarist from Eagles of Death Metal. I danced hard to “New Sensation” and after the song, they introduced the bass player, an original members of INXS, Garry Gary Beers! @ Whisky A Go-Go

So excited about how well this turned out today that I’m posting it immediately.
