Productivity Tip of the Week: Meetings On The Go 🏃🏽
I’ve been soaking up the final stretch of summer with lots of walking meetings & calls. Something about being out and about in the city gets me SO inspired and it’s when I’ve been having my most creative ideas 💭
I use the app 📲 “Otter” to record these moving meetings (whether they’re with others or myself) and it literally transcribes everything you say into a text file that you can then go through and use as meeting notes. It’s genius!

How I Get Into Get Sh*t Done Mode
This week, I had an amazing weekend exploring the city, drinking , and spending time with family. But, this is a very full season for me & , so I knew I wanted to get right back to work.
Here’s the routine I use to get focused & stay focused:
1. Write out a commitment to yourself for the week. Not a goal, but a commitment. You wouldn’t be quick to cancel a commitment to someone else, right? Right 😉
2. Create a general outline for the week including all calls, meetings, and overall daily focuses (for example, I do my best to touch base with my team on Monday & take Wednesday off of calls so I can focus on deep creative work)
3. Put your morning routine on autopilot. This takes some practice, but having a really strong morning routine that is consistent every single day turns your mind on and sends a trigger to start getting ready to focus.
4. Move your body, drink water, eat something, and clear your space in the morning. I’m a firm believer that until you’ve done these four things, your mind will feel distracted by one or all of them! Get them out of the way.
5. Do the task you’re dreading most, first. The hardest but most important step of the process! This gets you into the swing of things and provides major momentum for your day.

Had a very brief working weekend at home in NYC and now I’m jetting off again. Florida this week. So not in the flow of traveling and have anxiety about being “out of routine”.
Reminding myself (& you if you need it), that routines are an amazing base line to guide our habits and overall lifestyle/mindset, but if we let them consume us and can’t handle falling out of them for a day (or 7) then they’re doing more harm than help.
Staying as consistent as possible and giving myself major GRACE as we step back into a busier season and begin to reclaim travel & life outside of our homes 😉👼🏽
What a weekend 🦋 back in my hometown.
Still in Madison but resetting today with , , a doctor appointment, and lots of work 😇

Sharing a “work day” in my life on stories today & it’s something that gets me so excited because there’s nothing I love talking about more than productivity & tips for making our days more fulfilling!
Here was one of the first shots: post-workout coffee. A non-negotiable morning combo in my book 😛
🧺 How I Keep My House Spotless (in just 10-minutes per day) 🧺
In all honesty, I was never a “clean person”. You know, someone who makes their bed every morning, keeps the dishes washed at all times, and cleans as they go while cooking dinner. That was just.not.me. It was actually a big insecurity of mine & I always felt overwhelmed in my living space (which also happens to be my work space...)
In December, I decided I’d had enough and it was time to make a change. So in true Kira fashion, I created a one-month challenge for myself that took only 10-minutes per day. Spoiler alert: IT WORKED & I’ve stuck to it every day since.
Here are the two magic steps:
1. Tell yourself you’re a “clean person”. Build that into your identity. Tell other people. BE a clean person. It all starts with mindset.
2. The 10-minute tidy. That’s right, all you have to commit to is TEN MINUTES a day. Right before bed, just set a 10-minute timer and go after it. Dishes in dishwasher, laundry in the washing machine, counters clear, floors vacuumed. If you’re in an apartment, this should really only take 10-minutes.
That’s it. Just repeat this process every single day (especially if you don’t feel like it) and report back to me in a month on the state of your space 🤗

Productivity Tip of The Day:
~save this for when you need a little morning motivation~
Block periods of FOCUSED work time into your daily schedule & then set your phone on airplane mode. Make the timeframe realistic & do-able for you (I like 60 minute blocks maximum) so that you’re able to stick to it and honor your commitment.
Don’t forget to block in breaks for movement, eating, chilling, and time to go on your phone! This is the KEY to working smarter not harder, let’s plz say goodbye to multi-tasking forever 💫💫

Sunday Night Reset
I LOVE doing all of the self care on Sunday evenings. Drinking this green juice as a little after dinner treat (the pineapple makes it sweet and it’s SO hydrating) & going to pour half of the shot into some water to sip in the bath 👼🏽
