Can you believe the difference between these before and after images?? Amazing! This man looks 10+ years younger than when he walked into my office. I ended up doing eyebrow/cheek and neck lift on him.

When it comes to facial shape aging, surgery is the only answer. You can do some things to slow and reverse process of skin aging. So, just as there are trends in makeup or hair or denim, there too are trends in plastic surgery. Facelift and Neck lift are two procedures becoming more desirable in 2023. Facelifts have [historically] been pretty recession-proof!

How gorgeous and natural are the results of this neck and facelift?!
In the before pictures you can see skin laxity and creepiness on her neck and cheeks. This is a normal result of aging and environmental factors like sun damage and diet.
This lovely patient of mine was an excellent candidate for a neck and facelift. As you can see in her after pictures, her neck and lines around her cheeks and mouth are much smoother and of even skin tone. As a facial plastic surgeon it is incredibly important to make sure this is not overdone, just natural looking rejuvenation.
Now she gets to look the way she feels! And this is my favorite part of what I do.

Let's talk about the importance of photography in plastic surgery📸
Taking good quality before and after photos is not only meant for displaying our work for marketing purposes, but it is also an essential part of being a good facial plastic surgeon.
One of the most important parts of taking good before pictures of my patients is that they help me to plan the operation from our first consultation. After taking the before photos and performing an in-depth facial assessment, I then use a simulation program to show different potential outcomes of my patients face. In our second consultation we usually go over the simulated photographs and choose which picture most closely matches their desires from surgery, in combination with my medical suggestions. 👨🏼⚕️
These photographs are also used as tools for education. For example, a patient may want a particular nose, however their facial structure would not support it- in other words it wouldnt offer the best aesthetic facial balance and symmetry. Without taking before pictures, going over the simulated photographs, and assessing the possibilities, the patient may not understand this.
With this said, on your first consultation with me I will go over your facial structure in detail and you can expect to have several before pictures taken. I am grateful for the technology and to be the ‘eye behind the lens’ so I can best meet your facial plastic surgery desires! 📷
