There’s something about Rosalind Reynolds that made us want to do a collaboration dinner with her so badly. A lot of what she does is filtered through a community lens. She creates wines that are unabashed, & at times unconventional, but still taste so true to the grape & are so well balanced. She’s not afraid to sometimes push the doors of the box wide open and tell
them walls to f**k off.
She states, “I aim to make fresh, bright wines that taste good, encourage thoughtful discussion, & ultimately bring people together.“
We love to make fresh, seasonally driven food that also tastes good. We love our community & each new member that becomes part of it. We always love a good conversation with our friends & patrons.
Sounds like a much made in heaven! Buy tickets NOW, by clicking the link in our profile or hitting up our story.

We wait pretty much all year for pickling cucumbers to show their pretty faces at the farmers markets we attend on a weekly basis. I picked these up yesterday in San Rafael. Let the Kosher Dill lacto-fermention action begin. Doing these new pickle style, keeps bright green color and has a big crunch. Looking forward to keeping this going till we can’t find em anymore. Summer has arrived. 7 days out, pickles take a minute, but are so worth the wait!
My dad always lets me know that his shirt is his most favorite.
So many moments of my childhood that I can remember vividly were spent in that questionable basement space. In essence a synagogue social hall, pictures secured to the walls all around you, memories of others just like the ones we were creating.
As an adult, I found a different form of contentment from my visits, filtered in ice blocks of vodka, larger sized roumanian steaks falling even more off the plates that housed them, the schmaltz, Danny Luv’s Hava Nagila (insisting every one get up and dance), the love felt throughout the space.
THIS WAS MY PLACE & now .bloom (that’s me) & other very special guests get to recreate it for you for one night.
We decided to do it on Father’s Day to partly honor Dad’s and my Dad’s favorite shirt of all time.
So come and eat damnit!
Link is in our profile to purchase tickets. Don’t wait tho!
To say we are lucky
would be an understatement.
We asked our bread team to bring back our burger buns for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. They obliged. But, then round 2 in the PM today, they hit us with this photo expose. Inspired by Burt Reynolds and all things America we are bringing back our buns in 4packs all weekend long at our market locations and at our Santa Rosa cafe in Railroad Square. See you this weekend!

Featured on tonight’s FRYDAY menu the Roman Jewish Fried Artichoke. Here’s some history on the cardoon thistle of a thang:
So…around 1555 a gent named Pope Paul VI forcibly moved all Roman Jews, around 4000 of em, to a flood zone right by the Tiber River. This land of muck provided cramped conditions behind a copiously large wall. There was also an imposed curfew. Fun times to say the least.
Anyway, Jews were restricted in their employment opportunities, but they could work as food vendors. There was a vegetable that was largely overlooked at the time, its name was the artichoke.
The ghetto community developed its own way to usher artichokes into the fray, bringing intrigue to the all but ignored vegetable.
Known as Ca****fo all guidia, this beaut of a thistle was peeled & fried till it was very crispy. So simple but oh so good.
Come eat it damnit! 208 DAVIS STREET 5PM-8PM.
It’s not everyday that we fry and that is why that Friday is a special type of day when dinner is what we display (it rhymes). This Friday (today) and EVERY FRIDAY from this point on, will be a FRYDAY for you to ballet on over for a mainstay which will be cray cray. Come on by for some Fry and smiles from all us gals & guys. 5PM-8PM 208 Davis Street in Santa Rosa’s RAILROAD SQUARE. Byeeeeeeeee!

The bread of affliction. What does this mean though? It is consistently referred to as bread the Israelites were attempting to make as they rushed to flee Egypt as slaves. Time was so short that they simply did not have the chance to let the darn stuff rise because they were refugees fleeing oppression.
Thus, matzo was born, the largest dry cracker in human history. We eat it for 7 straight days and it is only eaten on Passover. On about day 3 the best thing happens, you get constipated af & suddenly you t**h hole is right back in Egypt as a slave.
Mmm, sounds nice. So, with that said, we decided to take it upon ourselves to make matzo with a touch of good olive oil and flaky sea salt on top. The largest dry cracker in human history just got a helleva lot better.
