This hike starts from the Tomales Point Trailhead by passing along the west side of Pierce Point Ranch before veering west through coastal scrub to the top of tall coastal bluffs. This trail rambles along the crest of an open ridge as it follows an old ranch road northwest. It offers spectacular views of Tomales Bay, Bodega Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. It is also a prime wildlife viewing trail, as it traverses through the Tule Elk Reserve. The Tomales Point Trail is an out-and-back trail, so it provides visitors with the flexibility to choose how long they want to make their adventure.

Taylor Mountain Regional Park & Open Space Preserve is a prominent landmark in southeast Santa Rosa and offers panoramic views of the city from trails that climb to the summit.

•This 1,100-acre park features grassy hillsides, oak woodlands and several creeks that all provide habitat for a variety of wildlife.

•The park features approximately 7 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, an 18-hole disc golf course and an accessible natural play area.

•The park's master plan calls for the eventual development of 17 miles of trails, hike-in campsites, a visitor center and other features as funding becomes available.

Where are we today?

What a great time at the IPA 10k today! Everyone was having a great time running and enjoying some great beers. Thanks to everyone who came by the both and enjoyed some Bodega Head IPA and Stallion Italian-Style Pilsner. 4th place wasn’t bad for our first brewery team Beer Mile. We have a lot of training to do for next year.
