We would like to thank the 2024 Scituate Heritage Days sponsors for their generous donations. Without their support we would not have been able to bring this free family friendly event to the community this year and for the past 55 years. Please support these establishments when you can and be sure and thank them for their kindness.

Community Service hard at work. If you were at Scituate Heritage Days this weekend you may have seen these two. They wanted to volunteer for a few hours of CS which ended up being 23 hours for each of them. From helping vendors unload and set up, keeping the coolers full of ice, water and Gatorade, bringing waters to the vendors that could not breakaway, hauling gear and finding parking for musicians, holding down a vendors booth if they needed a bathroom break, taking photos of the bands and vendors and just about anything else you could think of. They stayed till the very end and hauled barriers, took down snow fencing, and loaded cars in the pouring rain. And they did it all with smiles, and positive attitudes. We could not have done it all without them. Thank you Layla and Will for being such inspiring and amazing young adults.

Shout out to the Scituate High School Football team who on a very hot morning moved the benches used at Scituate Heritage Days out of storage at the Marshfield Fair and set them up at the music stage. Thank you to Shawn Harris Enterprises for providing the transportation to get this huge task accomplished. And once again thanks to Marshfield Fair for the use of the benches.
